Position: Full Charge Bookkeeper
Employment Type: Full- time
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure accurate and timely processing of billing and accounts payable transactions.
Responsibilities:

Billing customers via email.

Generating Invoices-gathering customer and transaction information, creating and sending invoices to the customer.

Resolving discrepancies- identifying and fixing billing errors, late payments and other issues.

Maintaining records-keeping client records up to date updating changes to their accounts.

Communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances, credit terms, etc.
-
Perform 3-way matching to ensure accuracy and validity of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.

Post invoices and payment transactions to the appropriate General Ledger (GL) Accounts, ensuring proper classification and accuracy.

Reconcile vendor statements to identify and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues.

Process bi-weekly check runs in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to payment schedules and accuracy of payment amounts.

Handle the posting and reconciliation of credit card and ACH payments accurately.

Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to resolve invoice-related inquiries and issues.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Support additional tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements:

Proven experience with accounting principles as well as a strong understanding of 3-way matching.

Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems (preferred)

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to accurately process and review invoices and payments.

Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet payment deadlines and maintain an efficient filing system.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with vendors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
