Full Charge Bookkeeper

Position: Full Charge Bookkeeper

Employment Type: Full- time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Full Charge Bookkeeper. The primary responsibility of this role will be to ensure accurate and timely processing of billing and accounts payable transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Billing customers via email.

  • Generating Invoices-gathering customer and transaction information, creating and sending invoices to the customer.

  • Resolving discrepancies- identifying and fixing billing errors, late payments and other issues. 

  • Maintaining records-keeping client records up to date updating changes to their accounts.

  • Communicating with customers regarding outstanding balances, credit terms, etc. 

  • Perform 3-way matching to ensure accuracy and validity of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.

  • Post invoices and payment transactions to the appropriate General Ledger (GL) Accounts, ensuring proper classification and accuracy.

  • Reconcile vendor statements to identify and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues.

  • Process bi-weekly check runs in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to payment schedules and accuracy of payment amounts.

  • Handle the posting and reconciliation of credit card and ACH payments accurately.

  • Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to resolve invoice-related inquiries and issues.

  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

  • Support additional tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with accounting principles as well as a strong understanding of 3-way matching.

  • Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems (preferred)

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to accurately process and review invoices and payments.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to meet payment deadlines and maintain an efficient filing system.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with vendors, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
